Sigh.....

I am so terribly sorry to interrupt this awesome Spotlight on You Wednesday...

I had tragic Computer issues yesterday and they continued onto today, but finally all is resolved sort of...  Yesterday I wanted to watch a little something while I started a few drawings, maybe did a little coloring.  Well my instant play on my Netflix just wasn't working.  So, I called Netflix, they couldn't walk me through it and asked me to share my computer.  Why not, it's not like they would have any interest in my files, baby videos, photos and etc. right?  So I shared my computer, 45 minutes later the rep just couldn't fix the problem with Silverlight, which is the program needed to watch said movies on the computer.  So, he told me to contact Apple let them know what the issue is.  He emptied my trash said goodbye and asked me to restart the computer, or rather when he exits the computer will restart itself.  Well to my horror, I come back to the computer and it's missing something... my screen saver is gone my photoshop is goine, my documents folder is empty.  Hmmm I though weird, I must have signed into an empty account... NOPE!  He somehow restored my computer to it's manufacturer settings!!! I lost EVERYTHING... and I mean EVERYTHING!  All my drawings, my files, my digital copies of my stamps, my digital stamps, my baby's videos, my kids photos... well EVERYTHING means just that.  I had 100% of my computer's disk space available which meant everything was wiped out!  I panicked, I think I came close to blacking out, my husband called them back told them what happened and the rep said there was no way possible for him to do such things to a computer in less than a minute.... well I guess he forgot that he was in there emptying my trash for 45 minutes! 

I took it to Apple, they were unsuccessfull in doing a data recovery... the computer had to be reset by them as a brand spanking new computer!  So where does that leave me... back to the drawing board and back to the beginning of everything.  Luckily my wonderful DT gals did all they could to come to my rescue, Suzi even made a new yahoo group just for me with all my stamps ALL of them! WHEW!  Of course, that still means I still have to download all of them, recolor all of them so I have them looking nice on the store site, and I still have to contact my hosting site so they can resend me important files.  My baby's videos... I am praying my husband put on a disk for me at some point, he thinks he did but is not 100% sure.  So keep your fingers crossed for me!  I can't get Jude's birth, or baby talk, or when he first crawled back unless they are on a disk!  

Okay sorry, the point of this post is, please do not take it personal if right now I don't answer emails, if I don't answer about sponsorships, or if I just can't add another duty on my plate by sponsoring, I have to first have files to be able to sponsor ya know what I mean?  If you have emailed me and I did not respond, I am sorry I am not ignoring you, I am going through emails from my DT with my files, emails from Apple, from Netflix, and just trying to recover everything.  It's going to take one heck of long few days or more I imagine.  I am a bit overwhelmed and spacey so again not ignoring anyone just out of it.
