Welcome to day 2 of our Norse Gods! Have you liked what you have seen so far? I sure hope so!
Let's see what we have for you today....
London as
Freya the Aphrodite of Norse mythology. She was the fairest of them all, and
the goddess of beauty and love. She was also one of the fiercest of warriors
and leader of the Valkyries. It was believed that she and her warriors caused
the Aurora Boerealis. Apparently her sexual appetite was insatiable and put
even Aphrodite's to shame. Despite many lovers, she deeply loved a strange god
named Od, who had eventually become a serpant. Freya's wondrous necklace was
once stolen by (who else) Loki. It was Heimdall that had a legendary fight with
Loki and eventually got it back, thereby sealing the hatred that Heimdall and
Freya had for Loki. The cat is also her sacred animal.
Miller as
Heimdall – Watchman of the Norse gods and owner of the horn
Gjall. Son of nine mothers. Often identified with Rig, the creator of three
races of men. (basically the guy that guards the rainbow bridge in Thor)
Apart from guard duty, HEIMDALL is the ever-watchful sentinel who waits with
his horn to announce the end of the world. His horn is called Gjail or Gjallar.
When RAGNAROK arrives, he’ll blow the most amazing note and the last battle
will commence.
Won't you all please check out what the girls have done with these? They are amazing!!
